When you shop, look at five things: material, construction, GSM, size, and care. Together, they tell you much more than softness on a store shelf.
Read the material label
Cotton, organic cotton, and bamboo viscose are different material choices. Our Chevron Collection uses 100% zero-twist, long-staple cotton. Organic uses 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Bamboo and Waffle blend bamboo viscose with zero-twist cotton.
Names such as Egyptian or Turkish cotton can be useful starting points, but they don’t replace a clear description of the finished towel. Look for the fiber content and construction, then decide whether that combination suits your preferences.
Choose plush terry or lighter waffle
Construction makes a real difference to how a towel feels. Our Bamboo, Chevron, and Organic Collections offer a full, plush experience. Waffle has an airy honeycomb weave for customers who prefer less bulk.
Zero-twist cotton is part of our approach to softness. Still, the right towel is the one you enjoy using. If you prefer a lightweight wrap, a heavier towel won’t become a better fit simply because it feels substantial in your hand.
Understand GSM without getting stuck on the number
GSM stands for grams per square meter. It tells you the weight of the fabric over a fixed area. Our plush collections are 700 GSM; Waffle is 450 GSM.
Use that number to compare weight and fullness, then look at the rest of the towel. GSM alone doesn’t tell you how comfortable it will feel or how quickly it will dry in your bathroom. Size, weave, airflow, and humidity all play a part.
Check the everyday details
- Dimensions: choose enough coverage without crowding your towel rack.
- Set contents: compare bath towels with bath towels, not a six-piece set with six full-size towels.
- Care: make sure the washing instructions fit your routine.
- Support: read the return policy before ordering.
If you’re shopping in person, look at the edges and seams as well as the surface. Online, look for clear photographs and written specifications. A good listing should help you picture the towel in your home.
