A fresh towel needs a place to dry. In a small or humid bathroom, the most useful change is often giving each towel more breathing room.
Spread damp towels out, keep them from overlapping, and put them away only when they’re fully dry. A comfortable towel and a sensible drying setup work together.
Start with the towel rack
A bar or open rack lets you spread out more of the fabric. If you use hooks, give each towel its own hook and open the fabric as much as the space allows. Avoid piling several damp towels together.
Check the bottom folds, too. The outside can feel dry while a bunched-up section still holds moisture. If you’re always finding a damp patch, change how the towel hangs before replacing the whole set.
Help air move through the room
Use the bathroom ventilation available to you and give the room a chance to clear after a shower. Keep a drying towel away from a tight corner or a crowded stack of laundry.
In a shared bathroom, assign enough hanging space for everyone’s towel. A spare dry towel is helpful when the room stays damp or showers happen close together.
